Weddings at Monteverde
What makes Monteverde unique is that its inherent beauty is spectacular. Our natural setting has all the elements that brides look for in a venue; incredible Hudson River views, rolling lawns, a sweeping stone staircase, and an outdoor stone patio — all surrounding a beautiful historic mansion.
Set upon 27 acres overlooking the Hudson River, Monteverde at Oldstone is the perfect setting for your event.
The Pavilion
Tucked away on its West Lawn is our grand Tent Pavilion that can seat up to 350 people for a sit down dinner and 450 people for a cocktail reception. A permanent floor, a parquet dance floor, tent liner, studio lighting, vanity restroom trailer and even the generator, providing our bridal couples a blank canvas to create their perfect day.
Grand Lawn
Our bridal couples love to make their grand entrance by way of our sweeping stone staircase to the Grand Lawn, where they say their “I Do’s”, overlooking the Hudson River.
The Mansion
For more traditional “old world” elegance, Monteverde has the Mansion. Built circa 1760 by The Van Cortlandt Family, the Mansion has three dining rooms; The Grand Dining Room with ten foot French Doors opening onto the terrace, a double sweeping stairwell, Juliet balconies and a fireplace, the Governor’s Dining Room features ten foot French doors overlooking the Grand Dining Room and the Veranda Dining Room with a panoramic view of The Hudson River.
